Popular media personality and self-proclaimed "Mummy of Lagos," Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, widely known as Bobrisky, has taken another major step in her gender transition journey by undergoing vocal fold surgery to achieve a softer, higher-pitched voice.

Speaking through a recent social media update, the internet star revealed that she underwent a voice feminization procedure (glottoplasty) abroad to permanently align her tone with her physical appearance. Addressing her millions of followers, Bobrisky shared that her original deep voice—which fans knew as "Idris"—is officially a thing of the past.

"I’m officially done with the old voice. The transformation is complete, and I can never sound like Idris again," she stated during a short audio update where she demonstrated her new, distinctly softer pitch.
