South African music powerhouse and business mogul DJ Zinhle  has delivered an unvarnished response to online critics who target her personal life, career achievements, and mourning process. Appearing on the latest episode of the L-Tido Podcast , the hitmaker addressed the persistent cyberbullying and toxic narratives aimed at her, calling out social media users who attempt to diminish her milestone success while using her personal tragedies to elevate themselves.

During the candid conversation with host L-Tido, DJ Zinhle—born Zinhle Jiyane—opened up about the jarring paradox of achieving top-tier career milestones while constantly facing relentless scrutiny on social media.

Despite building a massive empire spanning music, fashion, and business enterprises, Zinhle revealed how critics repeatedly try to weaponize traditional, patriarchal tropes against her.

"No matter what you achieve as a woman, people will still look for a way to pull you down. They mock your hard work and then turn around to say, 'She has all this money, but she can't keep a man.' It is ridiculous,"

Zinhle expressed during the sit-down.

She highlighted the foolishness of trying to measure a woman’s entire worth and success through the narrow, outdated lens of relationship longevity, pointing out that such insults only reflect the insecurities of the people typing them behind keyboards.

The most emotional segment of the interview centered on how internet trolls continuously target her grief and family dynamics following the tragic loss of Kiernan "AKA" Forbes, the father of her daughter, Kairo.

Zinhle condemned the insensitivity of social media users who exploit her pain and complex blended family life just to generate likes, viral commentary, or a false sense of moral superiority.

Zinhle slammed critics who use her mourning and private family choices to gain clout or make themselves feel superior online.

 She reiterated that her priority remains ensuring peace, security, and emotional stability for her daughter Kairo, regardless of public noise or judgment.

 Despite the backlashes and unwarranted commentary, Zinhle emphasized that she refuses to let toxic online behavior dictate how she lives her life or honors her loved ones.

Reflecting on the nature of cyberbullying, the award-winning DJ urged social media users to exercise empathy and stop using other people's real-life heartbreak as entertainment.

"People act so foolish online, using someone else's real grief and private pain just to lift themselves up or feel important for a moment," she noted. "At the end of the day, my life, my family, and my peace matter far more than anyone's commentary."
