Content Creator MsJorji Sparks Outrage After Directing Threats at DJ Shewolf and South African Visitors Ahead of 'Detty December'
Internet personality MsJorji (@MsjorjiABG) has sparked widespread controversy across social media after posting a viral video directly threatening South African DJ Shewolf and warning South Africans against traveling to Nigeria for the upcoming "Detty December" festive season.
In a video uploaded to her official Instagram page, the controversial online personality delivered a blunt warning, stating in no uncertain terms that DJ Shewolf is unwelcome in Nigeria.
Addressing DJ Shewolf directly, MsJorji made her stance clear, declaring that she does not want to see the South African DJ step foot on Nigerian soil.
Escalating her message to target South African tourists and artists planning to visit for the end-of-year festivities, MsJorji warned that any upcoming performances or events hosting them would face extreme disruption.
"I don't want to see you in Nigeria," MsJorji said in the video, directly addressing DJ Shewolf.
She went on to extend the warning to other South African creators and festival-goers intending to travel for 'Detty December'—Nigeria's peak holiday tourism season—threatening that critics and opposition would **"burn the show to the ground"** if they attempted to attend.
The video immediately went viral across Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), triggering intense debate online.
While some internet users viewed the commentary as standard social media provocation, many online commenters condemned the outburst, pointing out that threatening international artists and tourists harms Nigeria’s hospitality reputation and festive event industry ahead of the major holiday period.
As 'Detty December' approaches—a period that draws thousands of international visitors, artists, and DJs to Lagos and across West Africa for concerts, festivals, and nightlife—neither DJ Shewolf nor festival organizers have issued a formal public response to the video.
