Tacha Breaks Guinness World Records with Marathon Makeovers

 

Tacha just made history. The Nigerian media star and entrepreneur snagged not one, but two Guinness World Records for marathon makeovers, and she’s letting the world know.

She dropped the big news on Instagram during International Women’s Day: 82 makeovers in 8 hours, then 143 makeovers in 24 hours. Massive. This isn’t just about being fast with a makeup brush, though. For Tacha, it’s a celebration of ten years grinding in the beauty world—ten years of believing in herself, building her brand, and showing up for her craft.

It wasn’t an easy ride. Tacha ran into all kinds of setbacks organizing her three-day beauty festival—sponsors pulling out at the last minute, people doubting she could pull it off, and the constant pressure of juggling her roles as influencer, advocate, graduate, reality star, and CEO. She credits her faith and her hard-working team for making it happen.

But the moment is bittersweet. Tacha dedicated the achievement to her late mother, Stella, who passed away 12 years ago. “The hardest part of moments like this is knowing I can’t see you, I can’t hug you, I can’t call you and say, ‘Mummy, your daughter is breaking boundaries.’” Even so, she’s sure her mom is watching.

Tacha had a message for women everywhere: Don’t stop dreaming. She dedicated her plaques to every woman still on her journey, reminding them that whatever you set your mind to, you can achieve.

Now, with her Guinness plaques finally in hand, Tacha’s just getting started.
