Nigeria 🇳🇬: Carter Efe Sheds Tears Over Davido after bettin N2 Million on Grammy.
Nigeria, February 5, 2020. Grammy Awards, the aftermath of which has acquired a crazy turn in the life of Nigerian social media sensation Carter Efe. In a viral video posted early in the morning of Monday, the content owner could be seen in his completely emotional breakdown after South African star Tyla defeated Davido to the Best African Music Performance category.
Although most fans were shocked about the "snub," Carter Efe reported that his sorrow was also made worse by one huge financial bet. The Machala star revealed that he bet Davido to win his first Grammy award to the tune of staggering N2 million.
The video that has caused a raging controversy on the internet displays an un-consoled Carter Efe crying in the presence of associates. In between tears, he bemoaned the fact that the money is gone and the misfortune that has apparently befallen him after he publicly endorsed something.
I put 2 million on Davido, I swear on my fathers head! he shouted out in the emotional outburst. "Tyla again? How? I am finished!"
The suffering of the comedian was also stoked by another content creator Peller who was also in the video crying and accusing Carter Efe of contaminating Davido with his bad luck through his defenses, which he publicly defended him.
This is the second occasion after three years Davido has lost to Tyla in this particular category. To Carter Efe, one of the vocal 30BG supporters, the defeat was personal. The move to make an oath on the life of his father has attracted the criticism of some fans who feel that the stunt was overboard whereas others have expressed a real concern on the state of his mind after the blow to the finances.

By Monday morning, Davido has not reacted to the video. But Davido is already being billed by Israel DMW as the "Best Deal" despite the trophy, and so it appears that the camp of 30BG is already trying to forget the Los Angeles heartbreak, although it might not be working the same for Carter Efe.
