South Africa 🇿🇦: "Dineo Ranaka Details "Spiritual Rebirth" Following 2023 Mental Health Crisis

Two years after a public battle with severe mental health challenges, media personality and DJ Dineo Ranaka has taken to social media to declare a total personal transformation, describing herself as "reborn" and spiritually aligned.

In a deeply reflective Instagram post, Ranaka looked back on the morning of May 23, 2023—a day she describes as a breaking point that eventually led to her healing.

Ranaka didn't shy away from the gravity of her past struggles, admitting that she once woke up with a "deep urge to cease to exist." However, she clarified that this dark moment was not the end, but a radical beginning.

I learned (in spirit) that it was not a physical end to life that needed to happen. I needed to cease the existence of the ways that were holding me back," Ranaka shared.

She described the grueling process of transformation as "screaming from the threshing floor of character development," involving deep repentance and a total surrender to a higher power.

The veteran broadcaster, known for her bold personality, noted that the version of herself the public once knew no longer exists. She expressed a newfound joy in her own company, stating that she now feels and sees the world with "profound" clarity.Relinquishing control to divine guidance.

Closing her statement with the catchy tag "202Fix," Ranaka delivered a powerful update on her physiological and spiritual health.

"My nervous system is fixed," she wrote. "And so is my heart on the Lord."

This update comes as a beacon of hope for many of her followers who have tracked her journey since she first opened up about her diagnosis of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy and her struggles with burnout and depression.
