Popular media personality Kamene Goro and her boyfriend, DJ Bonez, are commemorating a very special occasion within their relationship. The two have finally reached a very important mile marker as they celebrate six years together, as Kamene has declared that their experience has been a combination of both struggle and love.
Posting an entry on social media to commemorate the day, the ‘radio queen’ expressed her tribute to her husband, admitting that even though their journey together has not been smooth sailing, they are rewarded with each other.
Kamene affectionately called DJ Bonez her “COVID love," referencing the time that their relationship stood as a source of strength during that period. Looking at her inspirational post, she appreciated him not only as a lover.
“Trust me, it has not been easy, but doing all this with you has been the prize,” Kamene wrote. “The man who made me his wife, my best friend, the one who wipes my tears, who always reminds me who I am.”
This power couple has constantly been subject to media attention as well as "break up" speculations since they started dating. Kamene hit back at her critics, asserting that their relationship is not as viewed by skeptics.
“Only we know the extent of struggle we have been through and why we continue doing the same.”
A message to the 'haters': "Hatuwachani, mtangoja!" is how she concluded her tribute with defiance: "We are not breaking up, you'll wait forever!"
