Reality TV Bombshell: Star Claims Secret Romance with Late Mampintsha (South Africa 🇿🇦)

 

The South African entertainment industry has been rocked by fresh controversy following sensational claims made on a popular reality TV show regarding the late Kwaito legend, Mampintsha.

In a recent episode of Slay Queens, cast member and social media influencer Boitumelo Patricia stunned viewers by alleging she had a romantic entanglement with the former Big Nuz star while he was still married to Gqom queen, Babes Wodumo.

Patricia, also known for her work as a nightclub hostess, did not hold back during the episode, describing Mampintsha as an affectionate partner who frequently drew comparisons between her and his wife.

Beyond the emotional connection, Patricia highlighted the musician’s financial generosity, dispelling rumors that the star was ever "stingy." She claimed he regularly spoiled her with unsolicited cash transfers.

“He was very sweet,” she claimed. “He would say, ‘Let me send you an eWallet.’”

To validate her story, Patricia played a WhatsApp voice note for the production crew, which she asserts features the voice of the Umlilo hitmaker. A clip of this revelation was shared on X (formerly Twitter) on December 21, 2025, instantly going viral and racking up thousands of views and heated comments.

While many social media users expressed shock, others criticized the timing of the revelation, noting that Mampintsha is no longer here to defend his reputation.

Despite her fond memories of the alleged affair, Patricia admitted that the situation weighs on her conscience. She acknowledged the ethical complications of dating a married man and offered a public apology to his widow, Babes Wodumo.

“I’m sorry, it’s not like I’m proud, but it happens,” she stated during the broadcast.
