Nigeria 🇳🇬: Regina Daniels Breaks Silence, Accuses Ned Nwoko of Blocking Access to Sons Amid Custody Battle

Nollywood actress and film producer Regina Daniels has publicly accused her estranged husband, former Senator Ned Nwoko, of deliberately preventing her from seeing their two sons, Munir and Khalifa. The actress, who recently ended her highly publicized marriage, issued a searing statement detailing her struggle to reunite with her children and slamming Nwoko's actions as a calculated attempt to gain "negative attention."

In a candid statement shared late Monday, Daniels expressed the profound pain of separation, saying, "No mother can be at peace while separated from her children."

She revealed that the last time she was able to speak to her sons was in mid-November. She further escalated her claims by stating that Nwoko has:

Dismissed all her nannies and pressured them to make "false statements accusing me of violence and alcohol abuse in front of the children."

Filed for full custody of the children, despite the children already being in his care.

"I am left to wonder whether I am truly such a threat that I am being challenged so aggressively," Daniels stated.

Daniels also took aim at Nwoko's recent public appearances with the children, suggesting his motives were self-serving and not rooted in genuine parental care.

"The repeated public exposure of my children, reflects a troubling and deliberate pursuit of negative attention by their father," she wrote. "It is implausible that a public figure, particularly one with legislative experience would be unaware that posting our children publicly in this time would inevitably attract media scrutiny."

The actress further questioned her ex-husband's priorities, suggesting his behavior is "motivated by public engagement rather than parental responsibility." She concluded her criticism with a sharp jab, calling him a "content creator" rather than a "one term senator."

Despite the apparent legal and emotional obstacles, Daniels remained defiant, asserting her right to be with her children.

"I may be young, but I am such a mum, I enjoy being a mum and I miss being a mum," she affirmed. "Its so crazy if their father thinks I won't come for my children. I will definitely see my kids soon!"

Ned Nwoko has yet to issue a public response to Regina Daniels' allegations regarding the custody battle and her access to their sons.
