Ghana 🇬🇭: Viral Video Captures Nana Agradaa Escorted by Prison Officers After High Court Appearance

A video showing convicted Ghanaian preacher, Nana Agradaa (born Patricia Asiedua), being escorted by Ghana Prison Officers following an appearance at the Amasaman High Court has gone viral online today, December 4, 2025.

The footage, which is currently making waves across social media platforms, shows the controversial preacher, who is currently serving a sentence for fraud, dressed in a white outfit and wearing a nose mask as she was led into a white mini-bus.

Agradaa's court appearance was in connection with her ongoing appeal to the Amasaman High Court, where she is seeking a reduction of her initial 15-year jail sentence.

The less-than-one-minute video clip shows approximately six prison officers closely escorting Agradaa. Her husband, Angel Asiamah, also dressed in all-white attire, was seen trailing the group of officers as they moved toward the vehicle.

During the proceedings, Agradaa's counsel requested a short adjournment when the case was brought before a new judge. Her legal team indicated a plan to adopt the earlier proceedings of the case instead of beginning the trial afresh.

Nana Agradaa's arrest stems from an all-night church service she held on October 7, 2022. During the service, she allegedly promised attendees significant financial returns.

Following the event, multiple congregants accused Agradaa of fraud. The victims claimed they were asked to give the preacher money under the assurance that it would be doubled, a promise that they allege was never fulfilled. Many victims shared their accounts online, claiming they were simply dismissed from the premises after handing over their cash.
