South Africa ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ : Global Superstar Black Coffee Snaps Up R157 Million Clifton Mansion in Record Cape Town Property Deal

Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Nkosinathi “Black Coffee” Maphumulo has cemented his status as one of South Africa’s most successful global entertainers by acquiring a spectacular R157 million mansion in the ultra-exclusive Clifton, Cape Town.

The staggering purchase price makes it the highest-value home sale in South Africa this year, according to recent reports.

The sprawling property is located on Nettleton Road, an address widely regarded as South Africa's most expensive street, where homes routinely command nine-figure price tags. Black Coffee reportedly secured the property, sometimes nicknamed "The Pentagon," through his entity, Little Ark Holdings.

The mansion, an architectural masterpiece designed by award-winning architect Stefan Antoni, boasts five en-suite bedrooms, commanding panoramic views of Clifton’s iconic coastline from its tiered structure. Features include a 16-metre heated infinity pool overlooking the ocean and extensive entertainment areas designed to maximize its dramatic setting.

Real estate experts have noted that while Cape Town’s luxury market remains fiercely competitive, this sale highlights the significant wealth accumulation of top-tier South African talent who earn substantial income in foreign currency through international residencies and performances.

The sale surpasses previous high-value transactions in the area, marking a significant moment in the local property market, confirming that local high-net-worth individuals are driving demand for the country’s most luxurious coastal properties.
