South Africa:Due to an unexpected illness, Amapiano star Thatohatsi apologises for missing performances.

Well-known Amapiano singer Thatohatsi, who goes by Thato Raphadi off-stage, has apologised sincerely to fans and organisers for missing a number of shows over the weekend due to an unexpected illness, including the highly anticipated Red Bull Symphonic on June 7. The "Xolele" hitmaker said in a statement that the sudden sickness prevented her from performing because it left her voiceless.

"I, Thatohatsi, regret to inform you that due to an unexpected illness, I have temporarily lost my voice and was unable to perform at the Red Bull Symphonic, Market@theSheds, and Drama Hatfield PTA," she stated.

Thatohatsi expressed her sincere apologies to her supporters, event planners, and sponsors, highlighting her gratitude for their patience throughout this trying time. After she recovers, she also promised to reschedule her shows or work with promoters to find appropriate substitutes, saying, "I can’t wait to see you all soon." Thatohatsi, who is originally from Payneville, Springs, became well-known after her breakthrough song "Xolele" went viral on TikTok. She is considered by many to be among Amapiano's most promising newcomers.
