Dancehall artist Shatta Wale swiftly responded to Ghanaian rapper Medikal's recent tweet wishing market women well, sparking a lot of discussion on social media.  In response to Medikal's declaration of "Market Women Day," he tweeted under his handle, @Medikalbyk, "Happy Market Women Day, Achidudu, thank you for what you do for our country st we all craze." The highly shared post seemed to be an impromptu homage to the crucial role market women play in Ghanaian society and the country's economy. A popular Ghanaian Pidgin English saying, "st we all craze" is probably used here to signify a deep sense of gratitude or even mild frustration.
