NAPTIP Declares Speed Darlington Wanted Over Grave Allegations
The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has officially declared controversial musician and internet personality, Darlington Okoye, widely known as Speed Darlington, as wanted. The agency announced the development on Friday, citing serious allegations of rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking against the entertainer.
NAPTIP's declaration comes after Speed Darlington reportedly failed to honor multiple invitations for questioning regarding the accusations. The agency stated that all necessary legal protocols were exhausted before issuing the wanted notice, signaling an escalation in the case.
According to NAPTIP, the rape allegation stems from a detailed complaint filed by a female victim, which is being treated with utmost seriousness. The charges of cyberbullying and cyberstalking are reportedly based on numerous complaints from individuals who allege that Speed Darlington used his social media platforms to harass and demean them. Evidence including screenshots, voice notes, and video clips has reportedly been submitted to investigators.
The agency has urged anyone with credible information regarding Speed Darlington's whereabouts to contact NAPTIP immediately, providing specific contact details for public assistance. This development marks a significant turn for the self-proclaimed "Energy God," bringing serious legal scrutiny to his public persona.
