In a heartwarming gesture of camaraderie and support, Nollywood actress Uche Jombo personally presented her colleague and close friend Chioma Akpotha with the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) Best Actress trophy in the US. Since being recorded and posted online, the endearing moment has gone global, inspiring a wave of "awws" and appreciation from both fans and colleagues in the profession. 

Akpotha was unable to attend the event, despite winning the coveted Best Actress in a Drama, Movie, or TV Series award for her performance in "Gangs of Lagos" at the renowned ceremony held in Lagos, Nigeria. As a close friend and fellow industry veteran, Jombo made the effort to go across countries to make sure the well-earned honour reached its proper owner.
