In the aftermath of a violent altercation, Themba Broly denies using cocaine, saying, "It's Expensive"
In response to claims that surfaced during a recent violent incident that injured music producer Nicey Beatz, reality television star Themba Broly Mabaso has strongly denied using cocaine. In response to the circulating rumours, Themba, who is well known as Themba Broly, said, "I am a rockstar, but I don’t smoke cocaine, it’s very expensive to buy." He went on to say that he doesn't even smoke marijuana, attributing his often-red eyes to a physiological characteristic.
A gang of about 15 guys allegedly attacked Nicey Beatz during a tumultuous physical argument at an apartment complex, which is the source of the issue. Nicey claimed that after Themba had brutally attacked another guy during a dispute, the victim's companions retaliated, catching Nicey in the crossfire. Themba's behaviour during the incident was characterised by Nicey as "almost like a demon-possessed."
Themba, however, has vehemently denied Nicey's story, asserting that he was only protecting himself. He said that when someone's girlfriend tried to take his phone and leave the flat, a "stupid squabble" broke out outside. After that, he went up the elevator with another man, and Themba's usage of the word "ntwana," which means "my guy" in Alexandra slang, caused a misunderstanding. "He believed I was disparaging him," Themba explained. But that's how we talk where I'm from. It wasn't rude.
Themba maintains that Nicey "just got caught up in the situation" and had nothing to do with the original argument. Themba responded to the drug allegations by expressing annoyance at being classified without any supporting evidence. "No one enquired about my cocaine use. "I would say no if anyone did," he declared. The reality star also talked about how the incident and the rumours that followed have affected him personally, especially his kids. "My son uses YouTube and TikTok.
He notices these things. Imagine him hearing his father referred to as a beast. It's untrue. The struggle did not make me proud. I was protecting myself. Out here, people are plain cruel. Themba asserts that he made an effort to make amends with Nicey by offering to pay for his medical expenses, but that offer was never accepted. He said that Nicey's choice to talk about the event on a podcast was "probably for views," and that podcast had no authority to detain him. He ought to have called the police if it was that severe.
Themba insists that he is not avoiding authorities in spite of the public outcry. "No police officers are searching for me. I simply want to avoid getting wounded, therefore I'm being cautious. Not my face, in particular. Sometimes all you have is a face card.
