Black Sherif vigorously refutes claims of "fake streams" and upholds his enormous streaming success.

The popular Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has vehemently denied allegations that he inflates his streaming numbers, describing the charges as "baseless and deeply insulting." The "Second Sermon" and "Soja" hitmaker maintains that his extraordinary accomplishments are only the consequence of his commitment and sincere artistic ability. With the publication of his second album, "Iron Boy," Black Sherif is currently experiencing a surge of success that is solidifying his increasing impact on the international music industry.

Six of Iron Boy's songs are in the top six on Boomplay and Apple Music Ghana's Top 100 charts, demonstrating the band's dominance in the music industry. With its launch at number six on Spotify UK's Top launch Albums and number 10 on the Billboard World Albums Chart, the album has also had a huge international impact. In addition, since its release, "Iron Boy" has received over 80 million streams on Audiomack. Notwithstanding these noteworthy achievements, some detractors have argued that Black Sherif's quick rise may have been aided by fraud. However, in a Monday, June 9, 2025, exclusive interview with Graphic Showbiz, the artist directly addressed these accusations.

To be honest, that is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. "My success is entirely natural," Black Sherif declared firmly. "I put my blood, sweat and tears into every note, every lyric and every performance." He further denied any idea of manipulation, attributing his growing fan base to "hard work, consistency, and staying true to himself."
