Well-known Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has sent a strong warning to gossip website Instablog9ja, requesting that a contentious post that quoted her as saying she was distressed about her married status despite her attractiveness be taken down. If the post is not taken down within 24 hours, the actress has vowed to take legal action. "I used to be the centre of attention—admired, desired, and blessed with a beauty that opened doors," said the post, which was posted on Instablog9ja's Twitter account and credited a remark to Adunni Ade. However, here I am... still single. Social media users immediately took notice of the quote and started talking about it. The seasoned actress, however, quickly denied the allegation and addressed Instablog9ja directly on her official Twitter account. Adunni Ade responded in a forceful manner, saying:

"I kindly request that you take down this post within 24 hours to prevent further action involving my legal team. I do not appreciate the fact that you're using my name to peddle false news & articles with no verifiable source just to generate engagement."
