"If I Have $1 Million, My Rent Is $1,500" is Keke Palmer's statement about financial savings.

Keke Palmer is a strong supporter of living far below her means, even though she became a millionaire at the young age of twelve. In a recent interview with CNBC, the now 31-year-old actress and multihyphenate discussed her strict financial strategy, stressing a "budget-first mindset."

Palmer started making a substantial income well in advance of many of her contemporaries, having gained early recognition for her parts in films such as Barbershop 2, Akeelah and the Bee, and Madea's Family Reunion. She credits her parents, who at the time made about $40,000 a year, with teaching her the profound importance of money and helping her develop sensible financial habits.

"My rent will be $1,500 if I had $1 million in my pocket. "I'm going to have a $340 car note," Palmer disclosed. She said, "I don’t need a Bentayga—I’ll ride in a Lexus." This open admission highlights her preference for frugal spending over conspicuous displays of riches.

"I learned from my parents very early on because they knew their limitations with money and finances," she explained. "I believe in saving and frugality… I don’t play around with that." Palmer's enduring dedication to financial prudence offers a refreshing perspective on wealth management, particularly for those navigating success at a young age.
