Sophie Nantongo Publicly Challenges Catherine Kusasira to a Music Battle

Renowned Ugandan musician Sophie Nantongo has publicly called out fellow artist Catherine Kusasira, challenging her to a highly anticipated music battle. Nantongo, speaking to the press earlier today, expressed strong confidence in her musical prowess, stating her belief that she would "easily defeat Kusasira" if the competition were based purely on talent and performance.

This is not the first time Nantongo has proposed such a musical showdown. She revealed an earlier attempt to arrange a battle, recounting a phone conversation with Kusasira. "It is not the first time I’m asking for a music battle from Kusasira. There’s even one night when we were having a phone conversation and I told her we should have it before I do my concert. The next thing I heard was that she had flown out for health reasons."

Nantongo went on to suggest that Kusasira might be deliberately avoiding the challenge, hinting at a possible fear of competition. "Catherine is probably afraid of having the battle with me, and that’s why she keeps playing hide and seek," Nantongo asserted.

Despite what she described as a "long-standing friendly rivalry," Sophie appears ready to settle the debate once and for all. She indicated a willingness to move past the challenge if Kusasira were to privately acknowledge defeat. "Since back then, me and her have always had a healthy rivalry. But if she feels inferior, she can approach me privately, concede defeat, and we close that chapter."

The public challenge has already ignited excitement among fans and music enthusiasts, leaving many to wonder if Catherine Kusasira will accept Nantongo's bold proposition and finally step into the musical arena for a head-to-head clash. The entertainment scene waits with bated breath for Kusasira's response.
