Controversial Nigerian singer Portable granted N1m bail in Kwara court.

An Upper Area Court in Ilorin, Kwara State, has granted bail to Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, in the sum of N1 million. The court ruled that the bail is contingent upon the provision of two sureties in the same amount.

According to the court's ruling, one of the sureties must be the chairman of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN). The development comes after Portable was arraigned before the court following allegations of defamation and threat to life against Fuji maestro Saheed Osupa .
