VeryDarkman Challenges Mr. Jollof's Claim of Apology, Reignites Social Media Feud
A renewed online clash has erupted between social media critic VeryDarkman (Martins Otse) and comedian Mr. Jollof (Freedom Atsepoyi), reigniting a previous dispute that involved allegations against Mr. Jollof's wife.
The ongoing tension stems from VeryDarkman's past claims about Mr. Jollof's wife's alleged connections to internet fraudsters, which led to a heated exchange and VeryDarkman expressing concerns for his safety after his home address was reportedly mentioned in a petition by Mr. Jollof and his wife.
While it was initially believed the conflict had subsided, VeryDarkman, currently in China, has reignited the feud by publicly challenging Mr. Jollof's assertion that he had apologized to the comedian's wife.
VeryDarkman posted a screenshot of Mr. Jollof's tweet, in which the comedian boasted about receiving an apology. In response, VeryDarkman vehemently denied the claim, demanding that Mr. Jollof provide evidence of any such apology. "I can never beg your wife and bring out the evidence that me begging you and your wife if it’s true," he stated in a video.
He further explained that while his lawyer had attempted to facilitate a peaceful resolution with Mr. Jollof's wife, he had declined the offer. VeryDarkman also recounted an encounter with Mr. Jollof and his wife at a public event, alleging that the comedian avoided making eye contact with him.
"Now be honest with yourself, could you look me in the eye (John weak)," VeryDarkman wrote in an Instagram caption, directly tagging Mr. Jollof in the video. The renewed dispute has once again drawn attention to the ongoing online drama and the unresolved issues between the two figures.
