Peller Speaks Out After Losing Nearly 900,000 Followers Over '30 Days Rant Challenge' Remarks

Nigerian TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has addressed the backlash he faced after cautioning Nigerians against participating in the viral '30 Days Rant Challenge' on TikTok. Peller's concerns centered around the potential ban of the platform by the government due to the challenge.

In an effort to mitigate this risk, Peller suggested alternative avenues for voicing grievances, such as Instagram or physical protests. However, his comments sparked outrage among social media users, resulting in a significant decline in his follower count. According to Peller, he lost approximately 500,000 TikTok followers and 400,000 Instagram followers.

In a recent video, Peller clarified his stance, emphasizing that he was not against the challenge but rather worried about its potential repercussions. He reiterated that he holds no power over government decisions and is simply an ordinary citizen. Peller encouraged Nigerians to focus on pressing national issues rather than directing their frustrations toward him.
