In a recent social media post, Njoku revealed that a young, aspiring filmmaker had asked her a straightforward question: "What are the benefits of being part of Nollywood guilds and associations?" Njoku confessed that she found herself struggling to provide a satisfactory answer.

"A budding filmmaker asked me, 'What are the benefits of being part of Nollywood guilds and associations?' and I'm struggling to give a clear answer," Njoku wrote. "Can someone help outline the benefits with supporting evidence?"

Her candid admission has resonated with many in the Nigerian film industry, prompting a flurry of responses and sparking a wider discussion about the role and effectiveness of these organizations. Many have now requested that the AGN leadership address the concerns of their members, and clearly state what benefits are provided.
