Frank Edwards Reveals How His Mother Saved Him from a Lucrative but Potentially Costly Music Deal

Gospel singer Frank Edwards has shared a heartwarming story of how his mother's intuition and guidance saved him from signing a $320,000 music deal that could have had severe consequences on his career.

In a Mother's Day tribute, Edwards recounted how his mother had initially supported his music career by giving him N150,000 to start his studio. Years later, when he was offered a lucrative deal by a group seeking full ownership of his music catalogue, his mother stepped in to prevent him from signing.

Edwards revealed that his mother was so adamant about protecting his interests that she even confiscated his international passport to prevent him from traveling abroad to finalize the deal. Her words of wisdom, "The N150,000 I gave you to start that studio is bigger than that money, just give it time," have proven prophetic, and Edwards is now grateful for her intervention.

The singer poured out his heart in a heartfelt message, celebrating his mother's role in his life and career. "Happy Mother's Day mum!!! Thank you for everything... Thank you for an impenetrable wall of fire! Thank you for always telling me the mind of God about the things I'm doing."
