The family of the deceased music legend, Onyeka Onwenu, has revealed the date for her funeral.

 The renowned Nigerian musician, Onyeka Onwenu, often called the "Elegant Stallion," will be buried today in Lagos,according to her family.

The singer passed away on July 30, 2024, at a hospital in Ikeja. She collapsed while attending an event honoring Dr.Stella Okoli, the head of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.

She was 72 years old. According to her family, the funeral service will be held at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju,followed by a private burial at a vault in Ikoyi. As reported by CKN News, the funeral flyer states that the Service of Songs will be from 10 AM to 12 PM, and the burial will take place from 2 PM to 4 PM.
