Nollywood actress Toke Makinwa expresses her weariness with the responsibilities of being a self-reliant woman.

The public figure made these remarks while expressing her concerns about the severe economic challenges on her Instagram page recently. Makinwa, who had recently returned from a trip abroad, mentioned that she returned home to encounter fuel shortages and an increase in electricity tariffs.

She posted: "Arrived in Lagos to find all this chaos—fuel shortages, increased electricity tariffs, diesel prices skyrocketing. What's going on? Being an independent woman is exhausting."
