Burna Boy achieves a new African milestone by securing the highest-grossing venue record in the United States.

In another remarkable accomplishment, Burna Boy emerges as the African artist with the highest-grossing venue in the United States. According to a post by Touring Data on X, Burna Boy's 2024 concert at the TD Garden Arena in Boston generated $1.593 million in revenue, surpassing his previous African record set at Madison Square Garden in 2022.

During his groundbreaking concert, Burna Boy filled all 19,000 seats at the TD Arena Garden in Boston as part of his 'I Told Them' Tour, which has already amassed $11,659,531 from 11 reported shows out of its 22 stops.

Burna Boy's groundbreaking achievement underscores his position as the foremost African artist on the global stage. Since his breakout onto the international scene in 2018 with the smash hit 'YE', Burna Boy has attained unprecedented success for an African artist. Affectionately known as the African Giant, he holds the distinction of being the sole Nigerian artist with two Diamond-certified songs in France: 'On The Low' and 'Last Last'. Additionally, his Grammy-nominated fourth album, 'African Giant', is the first Nigerian album to receive a platinum certification in France. With 10 Grammy nominations, Burna Boy holds the record for the most Grammy nominations by a Nigerian artist. He further made history in February 2024 at the 66th Grammys as the first African artist to perform at the main ceremony.
