Before the surgery, actor Zack Orji admits he couldn't identify people.

During a recent interview on Channels Television, he revealed that he was unconscious for approximately five hours after collapsing in his home before help arrived.

The speaker, who is currently in the UK for a follow-up appointment with Dr. John, recounts a harrowing experience in Nigeria. He explains how he fainted after collapsing in the bathroom, requiring two brain surgeries. Thankfully, after being unconscious for over five hours, a friend discovered him and rushed him to the hospital.

My friend Ahmed, who was in the UK at the time, received a call from the people in the house informing him that they had been knocking on my door since morning without any response. He then contacted another colleague, Benedict Johnson, who hurried to the house and found me on the floor in a confused state. I couldn't even stand up because when he lifted me, I collapsed again," said the actor. He also shared that when he was visited in the hospital by the Minister of Women Affairs, the first lady, and other well-wishers, he couldn't recognize them at the time. "Right before the surgery, I couldn't recognize people or remember them while conversing; it was my wife who informed me of their presence. But immediately after the surgery, I could recognize people," he explained. Orji disclosed that he underwent two surgeries because the blood clots were not completely removed the first time. "On the first of January, the initial surgery was performed, as you can see the mark here. I continued to undergo various scans for about a month afterward, and during another scan, they discovered some residue of a blood clot in my brain. Consequently, a second surgery was conducted by the same doctor to remove all the remaining blood clots," he revealed.
