Outspoken activist VeryDarkMan has denounced preacher Ebuka Obi for allegedly incarcerating a man for 40 days on charges of defamation. In an Instagram video, VeryDarkMan claimed that Pastor Ebuka Obi of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO) had detained a man named Ijele for 40 days after being labeled as a false pastor. VeryDarkMan pondered how Jesus Christ would have addressed such a scenario, expressing concern for the man's children deprived of their father and his wife bereft of her husband.
He dared the evangelist to release Ijele, the young man he imprisoned, if he genuinely represented a man of God.
Allegedly He expressed :
"Pastor Ebuka Obi, you are a dishonest man. You are a fraudulent pastor. For those unfamiliar with this pastor, he leads Zion Outreach. Ijele has been imprisoned for 40 days. You incarcerated him because he labeled you as a false pastor.
"You are depriving the man's children of their father and his wife of her husband due to your pride. An innocent man is in jail because of one influential person's anger. How can you imprison someone for defamation, for heaven's sake? Is this what Jesus Christ would do? You people collect tithes and everything, but you don’t follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
"Would Jesus Christ detain someone for calling him fake? Do you know the numerous challenges Jesus faced? It's a legal matter; you should sue him. It's unjust. If you are genuinely a man of God, set him free."
