The court additionally required Linda Ikeji to remove the defamatory post from her blog and prohibited her from making any future negative statements about the Neo-Black Movement of Africa (NBM) or its members.

The people who sued Linda Ikeji were the official representatives of the Neo-Black Movement of Africa (NBM), along with three individuals: Ese Kakor, Felix Kupa, and Mayor Onyebueke.

The Neo-Black Movement of Africa (NBM), along with three individual members, sued Linda Ikeji after she rejected their request to remove a defamatory post published on her blog in October 2021 and apologize for it.

The blog post by Linda Ikeji on October 19, 2021, allegedly described the Neo-Black Movement of Africa (NBM) in negative terms, including calling them a cult group and a criminal organization.
